Villeneuve-sur-Lot Golf and Country Club is a new name for an old and well-established golf course, built in 1987. VsL Golf & Country Club is situated in the Lot et Garonne, South West France near to the Dordogne, 30 minutes from the beautiful town of Bergerac. Bergerac has its own airport, serviced from the UK by Flybe & Ryanair from Southampton, Bristol, Stansted & Birmingham (with more routes to follow). VsL Golf & Country Club is also easily accessible from Bordeaux and Toulouse airport. We are 90 minutes from Toulouse and about 2 hours from Bordeaux. With a large amount of luxurious accommodation we are the perfect destination for large groups and society golf breaks. A great way to get to us is by Ferry. Try the Portsmouth to Caen overnight crossing and you will be with us for lunch and a round of golf the next day. Best of all there are no baggage restrictions! Under new ownership, an exciting plan is in progress to develop the facility into a prestigious and highly regarded Golf and Country Club offering year round activities. Already we have a wide range of facilities for members and visitors including a driving range, 2 practice putting greens (one with practice bunker and approach area), swimming pool, tennis court and Pro-shop as well as a full-time resident teaching professional. Our 18 hole championship golf course is widely recognised as one of the best in the “Lot et Garonne” and is normally playable 360 days per annum. How do I get to Villeneuve sur Lot Golf & Country Club? Getting to the club couldn't be simpler with a number of UK airports flying direct to Bergerac International Airport (30 mins from VsL). Ryan Air and FlyBe operate flights to Bergerac from Stansted, Southampton, Birmingham, Leeds, East Midlands and Bristol. Whilst the Stansted and Southampton flights run throughout the year, the Bristol service is seasonal and starts again in February. Bordeaux & Toulouse (approx. 90 mins from VsL)
VsL Golf & Country club can also be easily accessed from Bordeaux and Toulouse. Both cities have large international airports and are under 2 hours drive from the club. Most of the major airlines serve one or both of these airports. If you would prefer to drive there are regular services from Dover to Calais and Portsmouth to Caen. We are approximately 8 hours drive from Calais and 6 hours from Caen. The Portsmouth Caen route is an overnight service making it a particularly efficient means of driving to the Southwest of France. | |
